News from Europe
Someone phoned me yesterday and explained the feelings found in Poland and Lithuania over the fighting in the Ukraine. Ukrainian flags are being flown in Poland as a sign of unity with that country, and both Poles and Lithuanians are nervous about the Russian belligerence. I do not think that Americans understand what is happening abroad at all. I was glad for this first-hand account from someone who has been talking with young people involved in politics in Poland.
